As a public sculpture, Coffee and Oranges in a Sunny Chair aims to beckon. The chair’s exaggerated scale evokes the whimsy of Alice in Wonderland. Its residential village setting suggests that someone has dragged the chair outside to read in the sun or to curl up in and nap.
